Attorney Claimed Another Witness to Rumored Party
DETROIT (MyTV 20) – Lawyers for ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick are denying the latest claims of a much rumored, but, never proven party at the Mayor’s Mansion.
Norman Yatooma represents the family of murdered stripper Tamara Greene. She died in April 2003, a couple of months after she claimed Kilpatrick’s wife attacked her at the party. Yatooma claims a second dancer backs Greene’s story in a sworn deposition, and that leaders in the Police Department were part of a major cover-up to protect Kilpatrick. Yatooma also claims Kilpatrick also had a sexual relationship with the city’s former federal monitor, who oversaw police department reforms.
Kilpatrick’s lawyers want a federal judge to dismiss the suit.
