Capital Grille Donates to Yatooma’s Foundation For The Kids
Families of children who have lost a parent will benefit from a recent donation made by Troy’s The Capital Grille to Yatooma’s Foundation for the Kids.
John Kelly, managing partner for the Capital Grille, presented a check for $5,400 to Norman Yatooma, the foundation’s president. The funds came from the proceeds of Restaurant Week, in which the charity of choice receives 10 percent of all sales from the week’s special menu.
Yatooma – a Metro Detroit attorney, who is well known for representing the family of slain dancer Tamara Greene in a lawsuit against the city of Detroit and former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick – established the foundation 10 years after his own father was murdered. Located in Bloomfield Hills, the nonprofit foundation provides practical, professional and personal assistance at each stage of the greieving and recovery process.
