First Annual Rockin’ The Dream Charity Concert
Featuring Teen Pop Sensation Cody Simpson

PONTIAC, Mich. – The first annual Rockin’ the Dream Charity Concert will take place on Martin Luther King Day, Monday January 17th at the Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac from 12pm-3pm. Featuring performances by Cody Simpson, Stevie Soul, Brilliance, Buda, Infinity Hour, Lewis Hensley and the entire Channel 955 Bomb Squad.

The event was conceived by Blair Sakwa, a seventh grader at Abbott Middle School in West Bloomfield, as part of a community project for her class.

All proceeds for this event will benefit five area charities, including Friendship Circle, Kids Kicking Cancer, Orchards Children’s Services, Team Joseph and Yatoomas Foundation for the Kids.

Headlining the concert will be teen pop sensation, Cody Simpson, an Australian pop/r&b singer-songwriter from Gold Coast, Queensland. Students of all ages are encouraged to come out to this event to have fun while raising money and awareness for these organizations and the work these charities are doing for our community.

Cost: $20 per person (Includes t-shirt, pizza and soft drinks)
$50 per person (Includes a special meet and greet with Cody Simpson and other performers)
