Holidays Brighter for Pontiac Family After Extreme Christmas Makeover

 In News

Detroit’s Fox 2 News tells the story of Yatooma’s Foundation For The Kids providing a family from Pontiac, Michigan with a very special Extreme Christmas Makeover. The charity’s many supporters and volunteers made it possible for the family to be utterly surprised and shocked to see Santa Claus arrive at their door on Sunday, December 21, 2008 to begin a fabulous gift-giving celebration. After singing “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” with assistance from scores of volunteers and supporters, Norman Yatooma as “Santa” led efforts to bring bags and bags of gifts and food to their home. The charity’s friends at Moss Furniture made special arrangements to be with them for the delivery of new furniture.

Prior to the charity’s arrival, the family was unable to relax together
on couches in the living room the family’s mother did not have a bed to sleep on. That has now changed and they are most grateful to have had the blessing of the charity’s support this holiday season.

Attorney Norman Yatooma started the Foundation in 2003, in his father’s honor, to help children overcome the challenges that they face with the painful loss of a parent. For more information, visit www.forthekidsfoundation.org.
