Yatooma Foundation Hosts Party for Children Who’ve Lost a Parent
TROY, Mich. (WJBK) – Hundreds of special children had an early Christmas Saturday night, thanks to the Yatooma Foundation. The non-profit group, founded by attorney Norman Yatooma, benefits children who have lost a parent. The children recieved gifts, got to swim and enjoy a pizza party at the Troy Community Center.
Santa was there for the annual event. The cause is something near and dear to Yatooma. Having lost a parent himself, the organization is a way to provide guidance and generate stability for so many. Tapper’s Jewelry in West Bloomfield also donated 150 coats to families, Westborn Market in Berkley sent everyone home with turkey dinners.
