Kilpatrick Family To Be Deposed In Suit: Kwame Kilpatrick’s Wife, Father To Testify In Tamara Greene Case
FORT WORTH — Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick’s wife and his father will give depositions in the lawsuit over the investigation of exotic dancer Tamara Greene’s killing.
Bernard Kilpatrick will be first to be deposed, followed by Carlita Kilpatrick, in Forth Worth, Texas, on Thursday.
Greene was killed just months after rumors spread that the exotic dancer was performing during a party at the former mayor’s home, the Manoogian Mansion.
Norman Yatooma, the attorney for Greene’s family, says he wants to know if Bernard Kilpatrick was there, helped cover it up or participated in the alleged sabotaging of the investigation.
This will be the first time in seven years that Carlita Kilpatrick will answer questions under oath.
Kwame Kilpatrick completed day 2 of his deposition Tuesday. Former Detroit Police Chief Jerry Oliver was deposed Wednesday.
